Irene Clark

Irene Clark 1927- 1984 Born in Washingon, DC., Clark was both a painter and a designer. Her career as a recognized artist began in 1939 in Chicago during the Works Progress Administration (WPA) period of the Great Depression. Later, Clark painted her oustanding designs on wooden furniture for the Marshall Fields Company.
